Daytime Birthday Parties
Plan an unforgettable birthday celebration with our party animals. Guests will enjoy a Zoo Meal, specially decorated birthday cake, and gifts for the birthday child! Before or after the party, you and your guests are invited to visit the zoo at your leisure. The reptile house is a favorite of most children, large and small!  Ask for the latest schedule of animal presentations or check the daily calendar!

Details
Sacramento Zoo birthday parties are designed for children 1 to 11 years of age with a party minimum of 12 guests and a maximum of 32 guests (24 in Winter months). The party area is reserved for your guests. Guests can be any combination of children and adults, but we require 1 adult with every 5 children. (Winter months we use an indoor space as backup.  There is a maximum of 24 guests from November through February.)

   Carousel Birthday Party (minimum 12 guests, maximum 32 guests, Winter 24 guests)

• Zoo Space:
  $8.00 admission per person
  Includes: Admission to the Zoo, a Zoo Key, a Zoo Parent gift certificate, and a carousel ride for the entire party. We also have a private picnic area set aside for your party and a party coordinator there to assist with any needs.
  
• Food Options (2 available):
  Cheese Pizza at $7 per person or Hot Dog & Chips at $8 per person and includes a customized cake and t-shirt for the birthday child.
• Cake and ice cream only at $5 per person.
  
• Extras:
  Ice Cream for an additional $1 per person
  Goody Bags for $3 each

Member Pricing - Members receive $1.00 off per person admission and 10% off of the food price.

Reservations
Reservations are available Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm throughout the year. Parties must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. To make your reservation email the Group Events Coordinator or call (916) 808-8556.

Evening Birthday Parties
Or perhaps your special birthday person is a night owl and prefers to indulge in a private tour of the zoo! Try one of our new, evening, Starlight Safari Birthday Parties. These parties include an interactive stage show, guided tours, an animal encounter, and a take home craft. This safari is perfect for 20 - 40 guests, and costs $600 for the first 20 guests and $35 for each additional guest. Starlight Safari Birthday Parties are available all year long, based upon availability!
